This wonderful place you see is in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the oldest national park in Italy, established on 3 December 1922, located between the Valle d'Aosta and Piedmont regions, around the Gran Paradiso massif, managed by the Gran Paradiso National Park Authority, based in Turin.

The observation point I chose to create my image allows you to see the entire wonderful lake of Rosset, located at 2701 meters above sea level, which has the particularity of possessing a small islet, located a very short distance from the shore, in the northern part, and connected by a rocky ford (in the photo you will see some hikers crossing it).

In the background you can see some peaks, including (from left to right):

1) Cima del Carro (3326 metres)
2) Grande Aiguille Rousse (3482 metres)
3) Punta Basei (3338 metres)

The photo was taken with Canon equipment (5D Mark IV + 400mm f/5.6 L) and Syrp motorized head
