The Uia of Ciamarella, or more simply Ciamarella, is a mountain in the Lanzo and Alta Moriana Alps in the Graian Alps, 3,676 m high, North West of Italy.
The summit is located entirely in Italy as the border with France passes west of the summit. On the Italian side the municipalities of Balme and Groscavallo are affected; on the French side the municipalities of Bessans and Bonneval-sur-Arc. It is the highest mountain that crowns the Lanzo Valleys. At the top of the mountain there is a bust of San Leonardo Murialdo who climbed to the top in 1867.
In this photo of mine I wanted to portray the huge mountain, visible even from a great distance from the whole plain, making it almost emerge from the lines created by the surrounding slopes, illuminated by the warm sunset light. All around there are larches that have grown directly on the black rocks, typical of the area, which make the entire plateau a spectacular expanse of trees. The traces of the snowfields at high altitude are clearly visible, while the enormous resolution of the photo highlights all the structures and rock formations scattered on the surface of the great mountain

Our photographic prints are created using a specialty, large-format fine art printer designed to produce archival, museum-grade prints. They are true "chromogenic" prints: light-sensitive paper exposed in a darkroom using state-of-the-art lasers to produce the sharpest possible image. Your print comes with two certificates of authenticity hand-signed by the artist and the printmaker: one that you will affix to the finished piece and one that remains standalone. Additionally, your print's provenance is tracked and verified using state-of-the-art digital blockchain encryption technology. Learn more.
Our acrylic glass displays are ready-to-hang works of art that contain one of our photographic prints sealed between flame-polished acrylic glass and an aluminum backing. A hidden mounting brace on the rear causes the display to gracefully "float" off the wall for a sleek, modern frameless look that complements nearly any decor style.
