Andrew is a digital pop surrealist & photographer creating vivid imagery with a nostalgic aesthetic, influenced by people, culture, & his Latino roots. Soria combines his skills in digital pop surrealism and photography to create vivid and visually stunning artwork. His work is heavily influenced by his Latino roots and his fascination with people and culture. Through his use of color and nostalgia, he creates city collages that celebrate the unique architectural elements of urban environments. His photo illustrations capture the essence of the city in a way that is both captivating and dreamlike. Andrew’s work has been exhibited in Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Baton Rouge, San Francisco, Hong Kong, and South Korea. Soria is a truly innovative artist who continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with photo-based art.

“Soria’s colorful city collages offset his own photography with a heavy dose of Photoshop, creating overwhelming cityscapes that speak to our never-ending search of perfection. While the skyscrapers and pawn shops found in his work may have a cartoonish quality, they attempt to reflect a very real longing on the part of the city’s unseen inhabitants. Soria’s skylines and underpasses overflow and use the cityscape as a stand-in for the individual in constructing a metaphor for our desire to fill the holes we see within ourselves.”
