Martin is interested in the high-resolution photography for a long time; he has created his first VAST photo already in 2004. His second home is the Lofoten archipelago in Northern Norway. Not just to watch the Northern Lights, but also push the limits of digital imaging. Taking a VAST photo is not an easy task, but Martin would probably would go under 100 individual images. All that in changing light conditions during the blue hour while standing on a mountain in cold and windy Arctic winter. He has a motto that a photographer must suffer for a beautiful photo, so the viewers can enjoy the result from the comfort of their home.
