I captured this stunning view in Big Sur a bit by chance. After making an impromptu turn off Highway 1 towards the Rocky Point restaurant, it was immediately obvious that I had work to do. On this clear, sunny day, the color of the blue in the Pacific Ocean was especially alluring. Furthermore, the orange and purple flora on the rocks was bathed in perfect light.
The fishermen on the cliff, more than a hundred feet up, demonstrate some serious bravery and add scale to the image in a unique way. Their contribution is most appreciated... read more
