The dried lake bed of Badwater is basically a salt pan with tiny salt ridges just a 1/4 inch or less high. It seems hard as steel but when the wind blows all that dust gets kicked up in the air and when the wind hits at 30mph the salt begins to salt blast you and thats where the fun stops. I still have salt embedded in my camera pack 2 months later.
I think this scene works very well as a vertical print with the horizon line right in the middle splitting earth from sky.
