This is an iconic "Summer" road in the Palouse. It's only drivable in the Summer. During the Fall and Winter it's a soft muddy mess to drive on, AAA will not come and tow you if you get stuck. This road goes for miles, up and over ridges and finally intersects with another dirt road which does the same thing. It's narrow and if you come head to head with another car you both have to get skinny and inch into the wheat. If you come up against a combine you have to back up, may a mile or so until you can find a pull out. Photographing in the Palouse is always an adventure, you will commonly come away sweaty and dirty and with a smile on your face.

Our ready-to-hang canvas prints are created using a specialty printer that carefully lays pigment inks down onto archival-quality fine art canvas material. The canvas is then stretched around a 1.5-inch-deep wood support structure to provide depth and elegance.
