Dan Piech's "Concrete Canvas" series captures the accidental beauty that serendipitously occurs when the concrete beneath New Yorkers' feet is inadvertently graced by spilled paint, fallen debris, expanding cracks, chemical stains, and other delightful visual elements. An avid runner, Piech has spent over three years traversing every single Manhattan street in search of these overlooked "artworks" that have become part of the fabric of the city... more

Under close study, snow proves to be one of the earth's truly malleable substances. Its density ranges from weightless powder to solid ice, its forms can be soft and subtle, or as jagged as a serrated blade. While temperature, humidity, radiation and time all work to constantly change the snow, perhaps no force has greater power to effect sudden change than the wind. A single hour of wind can completely transform a smooth snowscape into infinite sweeping lines and feathered edges, eventually sculpting the snow into hard masses of endless subtle design... more

Scott Dimond’s “ICMMFF” series is the result of an ambitious idea and a photographic journey to see if it was even possible. Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) is a photographic technique of using a long shutter speed (exposure time) and purposely moving the camera during the exposure. The result can be dreamy surreal images with artistic surprises. Scott is using that technique to create the images in this series but there is one element that separates Scott’s images from “normal” ICM photos. Scott’s images are ultra-high-resolution panoramic photos (think prints as wide as 14.5 feet) and as such, these photos are very unique... more
