At Tubbataha Atolls, a Unesco World Heritage site in the middle of the Sulu Sea, a Hawksbill Turtle glides over a pristine reef covered in healthy corals of many varieties. Tubbataha Is protected year round from fishing by a squadron of park rangers. It is open to visitors by permit during only four months out of the year, making it one of the most pristine coral reefs sites in the world.
