140 megapixels! A very high resolution, large-format VAST photo print of a canyon with a waterfall; landscape photograph created by Justin Katz in Palouse Falls, Washington
Justin Katz is an award-winning landscape photographer, entrepreneur, digital marketer, and outdoorsman. He developed his love for photographing landscapes when he was handed his first film camera at 13 on a trip to Costa Rica, and hasn’t put the camera down since. He learned to develop his film images in the darkroom in high school, which taught him a deep appreciation for the process that goes into each individual photo. He has carried these lessons into his digital high-res photography.

Justin’s goal with his landscapes is to re-create the sensation of what it was like to be there at that location, in that moment and time. People often wonder if the colors and vibrancy in his photos are real, to which he always responds yes, and that he only edits his photos to bring back that sense of awe and wonder of what it was like to be there in person. His photos combine his love for the art of photography, with his love for being outside in the wilderness.

Justin has a Masters Degree in International Affairs, but doesn’t use it except for dinner conversation. Instead he lives in San Francisco and works closely with online photography education company, CreativeLive to bring the skills and lessons of pro photographers to as many people as possible. In 2016 he founded Travelstoked, a website for outdoor, travel, and adventure photographers that brings together the latest in inspiration, tips, and recommendations for people aspiring to enter this field.

Photographic print

Our photographic prints are created using a specialty, large-format fine art printer designed to produce archival, museum-grade prints. They are true "chromogenic" prints: light-sensitive paper exposed in a darkroom using state-of-the-art lasers to produce the sharpest possible image. Click on the icons below to learn more or click here to explore further.

Your print comes with two certificates of authenticity hand-signed by the artist and the printmaker: one that you will affix to the finished piece and one that remains standalone. Additionally, your print's provenance is tracked and verified using state-of-the-art digital blockchain encryption technology. Learn more.

Acrylic glass display

Our acrylic glass displays are ready-to-hang works of art that contain one of our photographic prints sealed between flame-polished acrylic glass and an aluminum backing. A hidden mounting brace on the rear causes the display to gracefully "float" off the wall for a sleek, modern frameless look that complements nearly any decor style.
