This piece has a mildly amusing story attached to it. I was staying in Monument Valley for some other photography opportunities and was told that there was nowhere to get a beer in 200 miles. I spoke to a local man who informed me that 20 miles up the road is a place called Mexican Hat where there is a Gas station that sells beer. Great! I drove up there and came across this place and decided to wait until sunset in order to capture this scene....beer in hand.
